June/July 2010 - Hostess Club Layouts - Found w/the Heart & You Are My Sunshine & 4th of July
Found with the Heart - Colette:
This page was designed to be used as a Father's Day layout if so desired.
I used the new paper packet entitled Passages (C71268). Everything is distressed in Cocoa and I used the June Stamp of the Month entitled Wonderful Friend (D1422) for the title - which is kind of blurry but reads "The Greatest Treasures are Invisible to the Eye & Found with the Heart". This stamp has the word Dad and an adorable neck tie!
You Are My Sunshine - Tanya:
I'm pretty sure that the new "Splendor" paper packet in the Summer Idea Book is my favorite paper packet ever. EVER. And maybe for all time. Just wait until you all see the Stickease! This is not the last you've seen of this paper :) I designed this layout as an option for Hostess Club members for their June layout. Besides the Splendor paper, I also used "Treasures" stamp set. Colors are Moonstruck, Topiary, Goldrush, and Heavenly Blue. I used some of the white posies from the Just Blooms posies tube (which are on sale starting May 1st!) I also colored some sparkles Moonstruck and Goldrush for flower centers and ribbon tacks.
Marla Krause has decided to join Tanya and I and help design monthly layouts for our groups. This will enable us to offer you all more choices in the future. To start out with, however, we have decided to cram June and July hostess clubs into one day in June to accommodate everyone's crazy summer schedules. So, Marla designed this wonderful 4th of July page as a choice

May Calendar Club
The large calendar uses paper from the Caboodle Level 2 paper packet as well as stamps from the new "Hot Diggity" stamp set. The small calendar uses paper from the old Paper Garden Level 2 as well as stamps from an old stamp of the month, Flutter. Both stamps and paper are retired, I believe, but both are old favorites.

May 2010 Hostess Club Layouts - Thoroughly Amused & Love's Bloomin all Around
For Love's Bloomin' layout out I used the Bella paper packet and made a paper rose using a circle punch and a simple brad. It looks difficult to make but trust me, this rose is as easy as it is beautiful!!
I designed this page with the thought that it could me used for Mother's Day as what mother doesn't have love bloomin 24/7 for their children!
(Currently Tanya has this layout for her hostess clubs, but as soon as I get it back I'll take a better picture and one focusing on the rose imparticular - I took this with my blackberry and I know it's not the best!)
Thoroughly Amused by Tanya: I used several sheets of B&T and most of the cardstock colors from the Animal Cookies Level 2 paper packet (plus Heavenly Blue to lighten it up a bit) . . . see that little ticket in the corner? It says, "Admit it, you're having fun!" How cute is that! I made sure to have both a portrait and landscape 4 x 6 photo mat so club members can easily add Flip Flaps to this page - I know you all have a ton of Bay Beach, Great America, county fair, etc. pictures laying around.
Even if you are not a member of a Hostess Club you can purchase this pre stamped layout out for $5.
Keep on Scrappin!! Colette

Calendar Club - March 2010
Here is March's calendar club. The full size calendar uses green B&T duos from several different paper packets with a punch of black added in for fun. The small calendar uses a marbled base which Tanya did by mixing reinker into shaving cream and dragging the paper through. She used Citrus Leaf and Topiary to give it a fun, bright shade. Just a bit of Spring to get us out of the ho-hum blues of winter!
